According to the provisions, applicants should plan at least one travel mission to one of the above-mentioned economic forums and present a material and financial schedule, taking into account two separate tasks, if they plan more than one promotional activity at the same time.PARP offers co-financing of up to 50% under the European Funds for a Modern Economy program. The competition does not have a minimum or maximum value for qualifying costs. The funds allocated to co-finance projects in this call for proposals amount to PLN 100 million.

What costs are eligible for funding?

👉 The concluding day of the Congress was attended by Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, who spoke about the mechanisms of the Polish government's support for JST.

✅ The Prime Minister's visit and the event's crowning panels were followed by the official conclusion of the Congress. Participants were thanked by the host Jakub Banaszek - president of Chelm, Krzysztof Żuk - president of Lublin, vice president of the Union of Polish Cities, and Grzegorz Cichy - mayor of Proszowice, president of the Union of Polish Cities.

👉 During the Congress, there were more than a dozen debates and countless conversations on a variety of local government issues: from business development issues to tourism. They were attended by ministers, representatives of government administration, as well as, of course, local government officials and scientists. Conclusions from the debates will be used to develop a number of recommendations and demands.

Mariusz Rudzki, who until now had carried out his duties related to servicing entrepreneurs within the Mayor's Office, became COI director. Previously, for more than a dozen years, including as director of one of the departments of the Marshal's Office in Lublin, he carried out activities related to the development of entrepreneurship throughout the province.

- Our goal is to consolidate the business community, gain knowledge from institutions supporting entrepreneurs at the local, national and foreign levels. So that an entrepreneur who comes to the city, to Chelm, will meet with us and get knowledge in one place. We believe that time is money, and our activities are aimed at ensuring that the entrepreneur obtains the maximum amount of knowledge with the minimum amount of time," says Rudzki.

Jakub Banaszek: such a place has been missing in Chelm

The Investor Service Center provides ongoing support for entrepreneurs and their comprehensive service. Employees also handle interviews with potential investors who want to start their business in Chelm. It will also be possible to hold a business meeting or conference on site.

- Such a place was missing in Chelm. We wanted a real Investor Service Center to be established in Chelm. A place where workshops, cyclic meetings will be held, also with representatives of government agencies and institutions. All this to streamline the process of carrying out these economic tasks," said Jakub Banaszek, Chelm's President.

Today's opening of the COI was attended, among others, by representatives of the Chełm local government, local parliamentarians, representatives of government institutions cooperating with the city.

This time the manufacturing sector is strengthening. Thanks to our efforts and talks, the Chelm Economic Activity Center has been enriched with a new business project. Production of furnishings that will be available in the IKEA store chain will soon begin in Chelm. On Tuesday, an IKEA representative, Michal Adamski, together with the contractor and new investor, Dawid Niedbała of DND Group, CGE, and Oleksandr Slobodianyk - Interim Logistics Supply, presented their plans during a talk at the City Hall.

It is encouraging that it is Chelm that has become another location for the development of the activities of the listed companies. We are pleased that both the attractive investment offer of the city and the professional service of the Investor Service Center have been appreciated. This is another large external investor who sees great potential in Chelm.

- a building responsible for servicing the station, as the site where the investment will be carried out will in part retain its former character.

In the "station" area, modern bus shelters will be built, which, according to the preliminary design, will feature photovoltaic panels. They will fit in with the aesthetics of the building, and additionally - to some extent - power the entire complex, which, in addition to its basic functions, is also to become a showpiece of Chelm and significantly change the face of the city center.

Currently, the "Factory" program is being implemented in Elblag, Stalowa Wola and Włocławek, among others. Zamosc is also to be the next of the cities.

The implementation of the project will increase the competitiveness of our city. The new office building and the invitation of corporations to locate their companies in our city will help keep young people in Chelm, whose outflow we have been observing for several years.

The overriding goal of the "Factory" program, implemented by the Industrial Development Agency, is to support the development of medium-sized cities losing their socio-economic functions through the construction of modern class A office buildings. Companies from the modern business services sector can operate in such buildings.

A modern office building is:
- 5000 sqm area,
- strict city center,
- 76 parking spaces.

Talks with representatives of the company were held by our investor service department for several months, so we are all the more pleased to be able to report their positive completion

The investment plans of the new company show that the actions taken so far and the economic promotion of Chelm, are bearing fruit.
